Have I told you about OC$? She’s my friend—we met when we were interns at Pusri. She’s like that popular girl you always knew in high school or college. Pretty, kind, friendly, smart, and rich. You’d think her life would be easy, right? But that’s not the case.

Last month—or maybe two months ago—she was diagnosed with a blood clot in her brain. And to make things worse, her long-term boyfriend since junior high cheated on her. On top of that, she found out that her dad had been cheating too, since she was in junior high.

I don’t even know how to describe it. How could so many brutal things happen to one person all at once?

She told me there was a moment when she thought about ending her life—but thankfully, she didn’t go through with it.

Right now, she’s in Penang undergoing surgery for her illness. I really hope everything goes well. I hope the operation is successful and that life starts being kinder to her.

I sincerely pray for her.
